Where is the event being held?
Subject to whether the government will still require the Royal Exhibition Building for a vaccine hub this will be our 2022 venue in Carlton. Visitors can enter the Show via the Nicholson Street and Museum entries of the Royal Exhibition Building.

Can I bring my Cat?
We love all Cats but an event such as this is not a suitable environment to allow visitors to bring their Cats. But when you get home they will be so happy to see you, as you’ll be loaded with treats and toys for them. You’ll also know so much more about them thanks to all the expert talks and presentations! How can I purchase tickets?
Tickets to the 2022 Melbourne Cat Lovers Show will be on sale around May 2021.

Where can I park & what are the public transport options?
There is metered street car parking available around Carlton Gardens, but it is limited. We also have special deals and advance booking discounts with many of the other car parks in the precinct.
If you can, we recommend you also take advantage of the many public transport options.

Is there an ATM in the venue?
ATM machines are located within the Royal Exhibition Building. Most exhibitors will be selling and launching an extensive range of fantastic new products and services at the event with Show Specials and great offers exclusive to the Cat Lovers Show! Most Exhibitors will accept credit card and EFTPOS payments but we also recommend you bring cash to the event just in case!

Are there any additional costs once I’m inside the Show?
All the features at the event are free upon entry including BLACK HAWK Stage performances, Pat-A-Cat Zone, the Educational Stage, Kitty-Kids zone, Purrfect Match Zone, Trouble & Trix Breed Showcase & Ask-A-Breeder Stage, Cat Adoption Zone & Stage and more. Please note that there are limited seats and group sizes for each attraction so we recommend you arrive early as spots will be allocated on a first-in-best-dressed basis. Cafes and Food Trucks will require payment.

Tell me more about the Feline Face Painting for the kids!
A big part of the Kitty-Kids Zone, no doubt this will be a popular feature at the show as the Zone will be presented by one of Australia’s leading face painting companies. Absolutely! It’s a huge Cat festival with hundreds of Exhibitors showcasing and selling all the latest and greatest toys, food, treats, food and services for your kitty! Can we purchase a Cat at the show?
We are governed by the Victorian Domestic Animals Act, which states that under no circumstances are we permitted to have any Cat adopted and/or sold at the event. However all the information will be on hand to ensure you are very well informed on the best options.

What Breeds will be showcased at the event?
The 2022 Trouble & Trix Breed Showcase had over 30 different Cat breeds to meet, pat and learn more about thanks our friends at the Feline Control Council, ANCats and The Governing Council of the Cat Fancy Australia. A list of breeds attending is available here. There will also be a wide range of other breeds throughout the event including in the Pat-A-Cat area, Cat Adoption Zone and located on Exhibitor stands.

Where can I view all the timetables for the 2022 Melbourne Cat Lovers Show?
