VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

In 2019 and 2022, Cat Lovers Festivals welcomed around 40,000 feline fanatics combined and were wonderful celebrations of the friendship and unconditional love we share with our beautiful cats. Our next event will be even bigger and better with more kitties, entertainment, attractions, feline products and educational talks at our exciting, modern venue.

Volunteer Opportunity:
This will present a unique opportunity to be involved, work in a team environment and increase your event and customer-service skills. Successful candidates must be available to work between the hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm for the two days.

Skills and Attributes Required:
• Child & Cat friendly
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Works well under pressure
• Energetic & friendly
• Punctual & reliable
• High quality presentation (well groomed, well spoken)
• Works well as part of a team
• Comfortable to take direction, as well as work autonomously
• Confident, and
• Excellent Communication Skills.

Successful candidates will receive:
• Free entry to the Show
• Full briefing / induction prior to the event
• A meal voucher (lunch) if working across meal hours, and
• Certificate of contribution.

Expectations:
The volunteers are subject to the general supervision, and pursuant to the orders, advice, and direction of Pet Projects International staff. Volunteers agree at all times to be honest, industrious, and to perform all duties to the best of their ability, experience and talents, as required, to the satisfaction of Pet Projects International International.

2024 Volunteer Application

The Show was my first volunteer role, my first events role and my first look into the industry as whole. I actually enjoyed basically everything.
